Welcome to the Seekers of Knowledge Foundation! I’m Chris Jones, the founder, and my journey in education started unexpectedly—through tutoring. While working as an accountant, I began helping my peers’ and coworkers’ children with their studies for fun. It was during this time that I saw firsthand the challenges many students face: poor study habits, different learning styles, and a lack of confidence in their abilities. I realized that goal-setting plays a crucial role in building academic self-esteem and motivating students to reach their full potential.

As I pursued my Master’s degree, I became an instructor at Southern Careers Institute, where I encountered a new set of struggles. Many students—especially those fresh out of high school—weren’t unprepared because they lacked intelligence or ability, but because they lacked essential academic skills. Organizational struggles, difficulty keeping up with assignments, and a lack of motivation often stood in their way. They didn’t just need tutoring; they needed a structured approach to learning that fostered independence, confidence, and long-term success.

This realization led to the creation of Seekers of Knowledge Foundation—a place where students receive the support they need to build strong study habits, develop confidence, and achieve academic success.
